We are introducing monster of the week!

Starting today we are introducing monster of the week system.
Every Wednesday a single kind of monster will have its experience and loot yield doubled for a week.
The type of monster will be chosen randomly.

Minotaur is the first monster of the week.

I think it's too much.

Its an great idea, but i think one week is a bit much. Maybe have like a dubbel exp weekend on every monster instead of just a few?

And not a dubbel exp weekend every weekend, but once in a while atleast. Lets say like once a month for example

Great initiative, just wondering are you going to select mobs like Warlock, Demon (or other most powerful) if yes that might unbalance the economy on the server as the prices for best items are still quite high, and if you decide to select mobs mention above maybe it would be wise to reduce it to 1 or 2 days not 7 days wrl hunt or demon hunt.

In my humble opinion, I have always believed that Tibia 7.4 was perfect just as Cipsoft put it.

I believe that changes like these generate unexpected responses like today, which far from benefiting the low levels, favors the powerful ones who appropriate respawns like Mintwallin.


Anyway thanks for the intension of making the server more attractive.

Well its a nice idea, but one week is way too long, make it like 1-3 days. ALSO DONT BUFF DEMONS WARLOCKS.

I think its way too long aswell, just tested it and its not working on Br server...

We also wanted to Kindly ask to fiz POI dls spawn for us, it is not working for as in Eu

In my opinion one week is too long, to be honest it should be ONLY Wednesday. Like every Wednesday some monsters will have 2x (or 1,5x) experience and loot rate. When it comes to 1.5x experience from Friday to Sunday, i dont think its a good idea. We really like to play here because its like old 7.4 real tibia which we all have been playing. Please dont make it easier smile

Well I was thinking all day about this new idea and ill agree with players before me and i think the best on most balanced idea would be drop/loot rate 2/1,5(or stronger mobs 1,5 and weaker mobs 2.0x) for 24h every Wednesday(not weekend as its unfair for some people who eaither work or have family time during the weekends when middle of the week gives you time (eaither morning or evening) depends do you do mornings or evenings in work. so you have 96h in whole month where you can equal chance to get better exp and chance to gain extra money.

The reason why I play here is because it's a lowrate and hard to gain levels and cash.


In my opinion it's all not good with 1,5x[3x] or 2x [which is 4x]...

Best you can do lvl 1-25 4x exp, lvl 25-50 3x, then back to 2x till lvl 100, 100+ as usual 1,5x, 150+ 1x

1,5x loot will destroy the balance and worth of items in long term.
1,5x exp for everyone is aswell bad idea.

Most people quit before reaching lvl 50 cause it's really hard for newbies to reach it.

Stages can be good but people will make lvl 50 on new chars just for the quest rewards... but better than 1,5x loot.

This minotaur event is fucking insanly overpowered. Please remove it. It is actually good idea with monsters that people barely hunt or give bad loot (cyclops,scarabs,[only minotaurs not all types], dwarf+soldiers[not guards], maybe dragons but nothing better than that. Or weak monsters like rotworms, larvas.

Minos are already really good cash/exp
Can aswell boost warlocks then >.<

[edit]: If you make higher exp/loot weekends - Most people won't go exp during the week anymore, many people will stay offline and maybe they will loose the mood to play once they loose their addiction xD

I think it will be 10-20 players during the week and on weekend not really more than before (in long term) maybe first weekends 100+ but during the week a dead server.


Shared exp bonus is good idea! 10% maybe?


Why need more loot? 1 mc already makes it easy to exp for free almost

Even my idea with higher exp till lvl 50 is not a good idea.

If you want more players. Put brazilian characters to EU server and fix an inbuilt proxy against lagg.
I am pretty sure this will bring alot of players back, we will have 100 people online and I guess it will only take a few weeks and we reach 200+ then more people will come play here.

Before you do any changes try this as first? from what I heard it is just a matter of time anyways, right?

In my opinion there should be no boost at all, it's a classic tibia with "Exp rate x2 Loot rate x1 Skill rate x2 Magic level rate x1 Mana/HP regen x2" and should stay as it is. We all started here on the same rules, so why right now your trying to give assistance to beginners or players active in specific days (because there are also players who are not informed and not able to play days when boost is active - it's just unfair) instead of writing scripts for "weekly monster system" you should be focused about advertising and other way to promote server Which is not taking place on the server and classictibia.com website, but in the whole internet (other forums, creating characters on other servers and spamming info about old school Cassic tibia server) that is the only way to inform and get more people in here. If you're asking me about the boost system I would like to not have it at all, but if you will decide to keep it I will need to accept it. Anyway its not easy to make decision Which monster should or should not be boosted (my opinion scarabs are the top mosnters That can be boosted [they are only at pacc area and spawns are huge] and this event should have take place only 1 day a week without or with notyfying Which monster is boosted - up to you)

Sorry but "classic"tibia is kinda destroyed. it's far away from classic with new custom stuff but now destroy the gameplay aswell? Please don't. Merge the servers and see what happens.

People who find classictibia and see there is custom stuff but only low amount of players are not going to play here...

Please don't bring more custom stuff for now and no exp/loot events...

Merge the servers with inbuilt proxy and wait a few weeks. I am sure it will help and then advertise before destroying the CLASSIC style.

I like this server because is a real classic.

I came from Medivia, and left there because there are a lot custom things.

I've returned to server because I saw all those events in news, and overall activity. I logged in and bought premium to hunt minos to soon realize the event was removed tongue Well events like this is a step to right direction to bring more people, too bad most of people here don't like it.

Also if you guys really think loot is fine then you're just too rich it seems. First thing I did to have some fun was dragons with summons on druid. Wasted 7k even tho I picked up literally everything , after like 3 hours and 10bp hmm spent had plate legs and serpent sword. I think periods of boosted loot/exp on certain monsters would be great.

Economy wont be ruined since with this much people online there is still more people trying to sell stuff or having something than people who would want to buy your stuff anyway. So the price will be mostly set by Djinn prices. If new players would arive, they'd buy your stuff and you'd make more money in the long run.
